Take Action · Contact Your Representatives

Reach the people who represent you

Find your U.S. House member and your two Senators, then generate a constituent message in your own words. We build the template — you send it through their official channels. We never transmit anything on your behalf.

Right to Redress generates a message template only. Members of Congress receive constituent mail through their official contact forms and offices — you send your message there. This tool does not file, submit, or send anything for you.

What to expect — before you start
  1. 1
RTR builds your letter. Mark your positions on the Issues pages — or write in your own words below. We generate a complete message ready to copy. This part is fast.
  2. 2
You paste it into each rep's own form. Most congressional offices don't accept email directly. Each has its own contact form, its own address verification, and its own topic dropdown. You'll open each form in a new tab — this page stays open behind it.
  3. 3
You have three representatives. A House member and two Senators — each with a separate form. Budget 10–15 minutes total. Some forms are simple. Some will require your ZIP+4, a CAPTCHA, or a topic selection that doesn't quite fit your issue. This is the system as it exists. We've documented why it's this way — and what you can do about it.
  4. 4
Include the note about the process. At the end of your message, consider adding this paragraph — a direct request to your representative to experience their own contact process and simplify it. Every citizen who includes it turns their frustration into pressure.

The process is harder than it should be. Send the message anyway — then read why it matters that you did.
